How do I wipe an iPhone4s?

I was given a iphone4s and it is still filled w/previous owners contacts and other info. is it possible to remove multiple contacts at once rather than one at a time and if so how? I did not get a owners manual with it so im in the dark with out a clue. thx

Plug it into your computer and use iTunes to do a restore on it to factory settings. If you don't have access to a computer go into settings > general > reset > erase all content and settings. That will delete all the previous owners info. Keep in mind if the owner has find my iPhone turned on you will not be able to do anything without his iCloud info.
