How do I verify my iCloud password, if I don't have a password?

I cant verufy icloud password, I dont have password

Bought a 16gb iPhone 5 off of CL
It keeps popping up to sign in to iCloud.
The pervious owner, young kid, said his sister set it up and she couldn't remember the passcode.
So I don't know the password for iCloud and it is stuck on the verify icloud screen.
I have IOS 8.1.1 imstalled

Ther is nothing you can do but get your money back, and give the kids their paperweight back.
