How do I use the Chronograph watch face on my Apple Watch?

So I got my Apple Watch and am playing with watch faces. I like them, and prefer the chronograph face. However I have no idea how to actually start and stop the Chronograph. Not intuitive at all. Anyone know how to use it?

Thanks!

Looks like earth, stopwatch, health and world clock in corners. You can tap them.

In the middle I think are stopwatch and second hand.

Not 100% sure on proper use of middle circles.

The yellow seconds hand will only be used in stopwatch mode. The top, inner dial will be used in stopwatch mode. Its basically a preview of what the main dial will look like in stopwatch mode. So if you have it set to 6 seconds, then the yellow seconds hand will complete one rotation in 6 seconds. The bottom, inner dial is to track the seconds in normal, clock mode.
