Your music and internet radio play in the background so getting out of the app doesn't stop the music

Double tap on the home button and find the music app and swipe it up and away

If you're on iOS 7, then as kataran mentioned, double tap the home button and swipe it up. If you're on iOS 6, double tap the home button, hold the music/internet radio app and click the "-" sign on the app. BOOM, you won't have to deal with it anymore.
