how do i turn off carplay on my phone

i pressed the car play button on my phone by mistake now it is always searching and i cant do anything with bluetooth ho do i turn it off on my phone iphone 5c thanks

have you rebooted your phone ?

go into Bluetooth and if you can tap the i in a circle for info and click forget this device, Restart the device and start over if you need to or then make sure Bluetooth is now off.
