how to tell if someone blocked you on iMessage?

hi, so my friend got this guy's number for me, and on her phone his contact profile shows up as an iphone user. like it gives the option to facetime and is blue in the contact thing. but when i added him on my phone, his contact information immediately showed up as green without an option to facetime, and when i messaged him it was green. uh does that mean he blocked me?

Go into this person in your contact app and make sure their number is set to iPhone and not Cellphone/mobile (depending on country). This is usually the reason why iPhone contacts show up as green and not blue.
