How do I sync my iPad to my iphone

My Facebook and messenger do not show the same messages so if it's on my iPad I can't pull it up on my phone

Unless both devices are on the same network at the same time, I doubt those things will be in sync, but I could be wrong. Hopefully, those who use both services will reply soon.
