How do I stop shared calendar notifications?

Good Morning,

My wife and I share our iCloud calendars with one another. Is it possible to prevent receiving iOS alerts to my wife's events on my phone? We still want to have access to each other's calendars, we're only looking to prevent the notifications.

Go into the calendar app- click on calendars on the bottom- click the i next to the shared calendar and on shared events turn off the show changes

I don't think the solution offered works for shared calendars, only subscribed calendars. I don't have the i icon that the previous answer mentions for my husband's shared calendar.

I do still need an answer for this!
