How do I stop notifications for photos that are commented on?

Stop Notifications for Photos Commented On

I commented on a photo to support a friend. Sadly, for me, everyone else wants to write innocuous words of congratulations on that same photo. The tab, on the upper right hand side normally used to turn on/off notifications, does not appear on photos used as status updates and the only way to stop them is to go to the original posting and find the tab that way. That means, I must go to their profile, find whenever this stupid photo was posted (which is a crap shoot if it is over a week old and the person is a serial poster) and do it that way. All I'm saying is that suggesting it to FB hasn't done much on MY end (they probably have me on some blocked list because I actually report illegal activity and pornography, including child porn on FB and apparently it's only porn if a mom is breastfeeding). So I thought if you had another avenue to fix this issue I would love to know it as well as maybe you, and others who may have the same issue, may alert FB enough to change this problem with a quick fix to their next update (because generating annoying in app sounds was clearly and important integration) if enough support was seen. Thanks.

Re: Stop Notifications for Photos Commented On

This is not related to an Apple device but to Facebook.
We don't normally advocate for Facebook users.
Your FB feed should tell you when another person comments, follow that link. That is the best suggestion I can give.
