How do I set up call forward

when I miss a call it is forwarded to a phone that is not mine and there is no response or default that indicates that the person calling me has reached the correct number.

Check with your carrier for the correct * code to enter to turn off any call forwarding that may be active that was set up via the carrier...

Then - open settings...phone... check for a call forwarding entry... then see if it's switched on or off...
