how do i reset a fitbit that i have bought second hand

I have just bought a fitbit second hand but i cant change the time on it? also do i need a dongle to set it up to my iphone

You need to install the Fitbit app on your phone and the phone connects to it via Bluetooth. Make sure your bluetooth is on and run the app it should connect and allow you to change the settings of the Fitbit. I have a One I don't know the particular model you have.
