How do I remove destinations/searches from macOS Sierra Maps?

How to remove destinations from Sierra Maps appears to be a closely guarded secret.

I can't find any information anywhere. Even finding this forum wasn't all that easy with the new look of iMore.

Anyway, I'd like to remove individual searches from Sierra Maps, but I'll settle for Clear All if I have to.

Click in the search bar. That should open a dropdown with "Favorites" at the top. Click "Favorites".

From here you can click the "Edit" button at the bottom to delete any favorites that are listed, or click on "Recents", which exposes a "clear recents" button on the bottom right.

@mac_Guy - keep in mind, this may remove the recent from any one device connected by the same iCloud account
