How do I put music on an ipod shuffle?

I have music in ITunes but whenever I try to copy it to the ipod shuffle it says, "cannot copy, use icloud music library"

Hmmm, I've never come across a thread like this before. Hopefully, someone who has an iPod Shuffle and is able to put music on it via iTunes will reply soon.
