If the messages are in the trash or deleted folder then all you have to do is select "Edit" in the upper right corner and then select "Delete All" at the bottom right corner. If the messages you are trying to mass delete are in other folders such as your inbox then you will have to individually select them to move them to the trash folder. You may be better off logging in to your email service's website to mass deleting them.
