Not much you can do. Make sure the volume is turned up. Make sure there's no plastic film covering the speaker. You might try going to Settings >General >Accessibility >Hearing Aids >Toggle on Hearing Aid Mode. This increased the volume on my Wife's 5c a lot. Just a little on my 5. YMMV
Make sure nothing like ketchup got on the speaker. That happened to me. Took 3 says to figure it out.
