How do I increase sound for FaceTime?

How to Increase sound for FaceTime.

Settings are on max volume both on slider button and on the side of the device. Can barely hear the person I'm talking to who also has her sound at max volume.

I don't know what to tell you. I use FaceTime a good deal with my youngest son, especially FaceTime audio, and the volume is sufficient for 'me'. Of course, everyone is different. Anyway, are you experiencing the low volume with only one specific recipient or with anyone you use FaceTime with?
