How do I get the recycle bin icon back onto text messages section of my iPhone 6?

When I select certain text messages to delete, the recycle bin (trash can) icon is no longer available...Now the only option is the "delete all"...usually, the trash can icon appears in the lower left corner...now, it always shows the camera icon...

Sounds like a temporary glitch and am assuming that you are hitting the small radio button to the left of the message you wish to delete so the trash can will be active to tsp and delete.. This is what I would start out doing with the hope this'll cure it.

Swipe the messages app out of multitasking. The trash can is there, but hidden by part of the keyboard.
