How do I get suggested words in iMessage back?

Suggested words in imessage gone away - want it back!

when I got the iphone 5s, it nicely gave me suggested words that I could touch to use a whole word in the text, it suddenly went away and I want to get it back
any ideas of how to find/reinstall this feature?

Press and swipe up below the blank "Message" field...there should be a little white line there.

If not, hold down on the key next to "123" in the bottom left corner of the keyboard. A menu should pop up, and on the top it should say "Predictave" with a little switch to turn it on or off.
