How do I get siri to display search info on my phone and not my car's display?

I have my iPhone XR connected via bluetooth to my car. But when I say "hey siri", and ask a question, she shows a car icon and tells me what I said and stuff, but I cant see it on my phone and cant select anyting on my display either (I'll explain why in a sec) . Instead, part of it shows on my car's display, but I want to be able to select it on my phone and not my car's display (it is not compatible with CarPlay). My car is an 2007 Mistubishi and I had a Pioneer bluetooth thing installed years ago so it's not one of those fancy touch screen displays. That's why I want it on my so I can see the results and select it. Any soultions? Possibly disconnecting Siri from bluetooth if possible? But I still want to be able to play my music and podcasts.
