How do I get/pages/ to install on my iPad and stop waiting

I installed pages on my iPad but someone tampered with my iPad and now /my pages/ are waiting and I can't get /my pages/ to stop waiting and install. How do I get / my pages/ app to install on my iPad and stop saying waiting?

Stop the process the best way you can, Shut off the iPad and leave it off for about 5 mins and then turn it back on, Go back into I presume the app store and start over again.
