How do I get music from my Mac ( OS X 10.8.5) to my iPhone 6?

I have a Macbook with 10.5.8, and I have an iphone 6. How can I get the music from from this computer to the phone?

Welcome to iMore! What version of iOS and iTunes are you running? Only iTunes 12.3 or newer supports iOS 9.xx.
