How do I free up space on my phone

I am out of storage on my phone. I cannot update as I have no space. How do I transfer stuff to the cloud so I have room ?

If you don't use iTunes, just delete stuff. Delete large size apps that don't contain anything important. You can download them back afterwards. Delete messages. Delete music. Again, you can download it back afterwards. Upload photos to Box, Dropbox and OneDrive. Then delete from the camera roll.

In fact, personally i suggest you back up your data and then delete them on your iPhone, simple and easy.

Deleting or transferring some big files are my choices.
