How do I fix?

I have an iPhone 5s and when I record on the regular camera app and play it back, there is no sound, it's like a scratching/hissing noise. The video itself is perfect it's just the sound. But when I record videos on snapchat, the sound works perfectly fine and I can hear everything clearly. This problem only occurs with my back camera and has been happening for a couple of months now. Any advice?

Are you using the native camera app or a 3rd-party camera app to record the videos?

You may have it set on "slo mo", Check the setting and be sure it's on video.

Try cleaning the hole between the lens and flash. Someone I knew had chocolate in there and prevented sound for recorded videos.
