How do I send an attachment in dropbox with an email in gmail?

With the Dropbox app, you can send a link to the Dropbox file via email by doing the following.

1. Select the file you want to send.
2. In the bottom left corner, tap on the curved arrown icon.
3. Select "Email". Dropbox will then generate a link to the file.
4. If Gmail is your "default" email account then all you have to do is add a recipient and send it. If Gmail is not your default account, tap on the "Cc/Bcc, From" line , then tap on the "From" line and change the email address to your gmail address. Afterwards, send the email.

If you have to send an actual attachment, you will have to download the file to your phone and have an app installed that is capable of viewing the file, and then email the attachment from that particular app.

Very good and concise advice.
