How do I disable the switch control?

I can turn it off, but the blue light boxes keep coming back and the switch is back on

What "blue light boxes" are you referring to and what devices is this occurring on?

Try toggling it off, then immediately do a hard reset.


Hold the top or side power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.


If that doesn't work, try toggling on Assistive Touch. They can't both work at the same time.
