How do I delete recent text history?

I want to delete a certain person from my recent text/contact history.

Just remove the text message they sent you.

Tap "edit" in top left corner:

Mark thread of person to delete, then tap delete in bottom right corner:


To delete their contact info, tap "edit" in top right corner of contact. Scroll down to "delete contact". Tap.
