How do I delete icons from safari without clearing my history?

I have several icons I would like to get rid of in Frequently visited sites, I haven't visited these sites in months, but I don't want to clear everything. Is there a way to just delete select icons. I have a MacBook Pro.

Click edit and you should be able to hit x and delete
