How do I delete a bad book file from iBooks?

My version of iBooks does not look like the library shelf version in the video on deleting ibooks from ipad. It does not have an edit button either. What do I do?

I'm doing this on an iPad Air by the way.

If it appears on iTunes under your book section of iBooks, Uncheck it and and the next time you sync or do it then it will be removed or you can right click and delete it until you see the could, It will be there but not DLded to the device.
