how do i correct my apple id and email

my apple id and email are misspelled and i can't verify my account or login to edit it, i.e., it should have been[redacted] not [redacted] how do i correct it...when i login with the bad id it won't let me change the email, it says the account hasn't been verified or the corrected email address in not available for use.
