How do I CLOSE a webpage I've looked at ?????

It is a simple question!!!! I do not see or know how to simply CLOSE a websight page I am finished looking at?????

There is a simple answer: push the button to switch tabs and from the selection screen push the X on the upper left corner of the viewed page.
