How do I charge the mophie?

When my iphone 6+ is low i.e. 14%, how do I charge the Mophie? Do I move the button so I can see the green dot or the red dot? After I have charged the phone, do I move the button to the red or green?

Slide the switch to green and your phone will start charging. Once the phone is charged you can either turn off the Mophie, slide it to red, or keep it on green and let it trickle charge the phone.
