how do I add email events to my calendar inbox on my iphone 6s

In the past, when I received Outlook emails involving flight reservations, hotel reservations, etc., these events would populate onto my iphone 6s and give me the option to add to my calendar on my phone. Now, for some reason, this no longer happens. How do I recapture this option?

Settings → Calendar, and then enable the toggle next to "Events Found in Apps".
