I don't think you can natively, but I could be mistaken. Alternatively, you can use a 3rd-party account like WhatsApp, Qik, Skype, etcetera.

You can have only one sms text account via your provider and your cell number... With Apple iMessage, you can associate your phone number with your AppleID and send/receive iMessages or sms messages via your cell phone number on all your iDevices and even Macs using the same AppleID.
