How do I access my i cloud account from my ipad

I have downloaded icloud on my iPad and done a backup but I cannot get into icloud to check everything is backed up can anybody help please

What do you mean you have downloaded iCloud? You mean you downloaded iCloud from AppStore or something? This I have never heard of it before. Going to check it if it's on AppStore n get back to you
