How can I use two bluetooth headsets at the same time with my iPad

I travel a lot with my wife and use my iPad Air to watch movies. I would like to be able to use two bluetooth headsets at the same time. I know I can use a splitter and use cables for both but airline seats don't have a lot of room and the less to deal with (the cables) the better.

Anybody have any ideas ?

If I'm not mistaken this can be done with the AirPods...I really couldn't test properly due to one set of ears...LOL

I'm not sure. Maybe someone can confirm or not confirm.

Yes, it works and works well running latest iOS13 Dev Beta on my iPad
