how can i use a ring tone for an alarm tone on iphone5c

on my iphone 4 I was able to use ring tones I down loaded for my alarm tones.on my new iphone 5c it wont work even though I have the ring tone selected and it says the ring tone for that alarm I still get the default alarm tone

It should work in the same manner you got it to work on your old iPhone. Use iTunes. Also, there's a guide in the Guide & How-To section that could be helpful to you.
