I want to upload my photos so that I can clear some memory so I need to get them off my phone to a desktop computer

A few options can be found below:

1. Use a cloud service like Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, Google Drive, etcetera.
2. Use a USB drive type app.
3. Manually transfer the photos via iTunes.
