How can i update my Macbook to OS x 10.5 ????

I have a Mac book, which i am trying to update!!!

I dont know much about macs, and any help on updating would be appreciated!

Via your MacBook, click on the Apple logo in the upper left corner, then select "Software Update".

Updates between major "point releases" (10.4 to 10.5) are paid updates. You can upgrade to minor point updates (10.4.1 to 10.4.2 or 10.4.11) by doing the software update, as D suggested... but to go to a major point update, you have to purchase the update. Prior to Mountain Lion 10.6.6), there was no Mac App Store, so you had to purchase a disk to do the update. I am not sure if they are available anywhere at this point.
