How can I turn off AirPlane mode on the 6s

Airplane mode is grayed out on my phone. Airplane mode is on and I can't get it off.

Try a hard reset.
Hold the top power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

I don't know about the iPhone 6S since it hasn't been released yet but on my iPhone 6 I go into Settings and the 1st menu item is the Airplane Mode switch.
