Transfer photos from broken iPhone 6

How can I transfer photos etc from my broken iphone 6 that cannot be accessed to my new iphone 6. I have tried Itunes but it asks for permission from the iphone which I can't do. Many thanks

The only things you'll get back would be from the last time you backed up the now broken device to iCloud or iTunes.
