Welcome to iMore! There are a lot of reasons why your battery could be draining fast. Go to Settings > Battery, and look at your usage. Check for any apps that might be sucking battery life away. What device are you using? Depending on its age it could simply be that your device's battery is nearing the end of its usable life. Apple's iPhone batteries are designed to retain 80% of their original capacity for 500 full charge cycles. After that you're on borrowed time.

Also, check out Settings -> General -> Background App Refresh

untick those apps where you don't feel you need to have them constantly updating in the background

Agree with all comments above, but also try restarting your device. I know it sounds overly simple, but sometimes there is a "rogue process" in the background that's just spinning away taking up battery. A quick restart will fix that right away. Next biggest one is background refresh as mentioned above. By default ALL apps have this enabled and most likely you don't need that

Try everything mentioned above, first. If you still have a problem, as a last resort it might be worth wiping the device and restoring from a backup. In my experience working with hundreds of iOS devices, occasionally there are corruptions that can only be cleared up with a complete device reset.

If even a reset doesn't help, then depending on the age of your device, your battery might be nearing its natural end of life.

This is what I was getting at! :) Apple can replace the battery for 79 dollars, BUT you need to ask yourself IS it worth it, or are you better off upgrading to a newer model. :)
