How can I stop an upgrade that has been running for two days

I upgraded my iPad the other day and on it then have this iCloud drive which had an upgrade so I pressed upgrade. I am not very afraid with computer jargon so if I can just have simple words to stop this upgrade.
Many thanks

iCloud drive allows you to see things that are stored on your phone like documents on other devices like computers- this allows you to work on it multiple places. I would try rebooting your iPad- Press and hold the power button and the home button at the same time until the screen goes black and then the apple appears- once all the way back up check the progress.
