How can I share iCloud photos with friends who use Windows?

stored pics in cloud and am trying to put some on thumb drive to print. my ipad 2 wont take USB drive so thought I could send from cloud to pc and then copy

You can share photos with non iOS users via iCloud Photo Sharing. I didn't know that until recently.
