How can I retrieve my original iCloud account from whenIi first got my iPhone?

i got an iPhone from Verizon couple years ago and i dropped into a toilet so i got an iPhone 5S but i never retrieved my iCloud account until i got this mac book air so i set up my iCloud thinking it would have my old photos and contacts

If you've never backed up the iPhone that dropped in the toilet tor synced its photos via iCloud then there wouldn't be any photos for you to recover. The same applies to the iPhone 5S. Having said that, you need to configure both your iPhone 5S and your MacBook with the same iCloud ID and passcode. You also need to make sure that the things you have synced via the iPhone's iCloud settings is the same for the OS X's iCloud settings on your MacBook. That will allow for both devices to stay synced with your data.
