How can I restore my contact list?

restore contact list

my husband lost his contact list when he tries to connect his iphone and ipad by using icloud. now he could see just some facebook friends information.

please help

Have him go to Settings > iCloud > Toggle on Mail. If it's already on, have him toggle it off, then back on. Choose "remove from this phone" if he toggles it off.
