Remove the add on $10 month plan from your ex account

My ex bought the iPad Air for me, cash upfront, he added the $10 monthly plan to his already AT&T account, which isn't contract based, however we no longer speak, can I just simply remove it or cancel it and have my own monthly plan with AT&T or I need my ex to cancel it? Thanks

Are you an authorized user on the account? If yes, you should be able to by calling AT&T. If no, he'll have to do it.
