How can I prevent iTunes from continuously syncing with my iPhone?

Have IPhone 6s-plus +updated software + recently updated from Windows 7 Pro. to Windows 10.
During first time Sync in I-tunes: I phone sync process repeating continuously.
Afraid to sync again.
What can I do?

It's possible that it was merely syncing everything on the device. Anyway, do an iCloud backup and then connect the device to your computer and sync via iTunes. Let the process finish. Also, you mentioned that you updated the software. I assume you're referring to the iOS version. Having said that, if iTunes were updating the iOS version, it'll create a backup, sync your iPhone as well as update the iOS version. That could give the impression of a continuous repeat, in my opinion.

If you don't want iTunes to automatically sync your iPhone, if that's what you're asking, then simply head over to iTunes's Preferences/Settings > Devices, and check the box which says "Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically." This way whenever you plug in a device into iTunes it will not do the automatic syncing. If that helps.
