How can I get new events will not show up on my Default Calendar?

Good afternoon. My iphone suddenly started setting up calendar events using a calendar I don't want. It won't use my "default calendar" for new events now. How do I fix this? Thank you.

What do you mean it "suddenly started setting up calendar events"? Are you saying that events are magically showing up on a calendar that you do not prefer? If so, does anyone else share your Apple ID or email account to which the calendar is associated with? If not, you may need to change the passcode for that specific account.

It won't use my "default calendar" for new events now. How do I fix this? Thank you.

On your iPhone, go to Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then scroll down to the "Calendars" section. The very last option should be "Default Calendar". Change it to the one you prefer. If I misunderstood what you're seeking, I apologize.
