How can I get my watch to pair to my iPhone 4?

Watch Pairing

I have the iWatch but have not been able to use it because I have an iPhone 4 and it seems that the iPhone 4 cannot be updated past IOS 7....

I think I need at least IOS 8.2 in order to pair my iWatch and phone. Does anyone know if there is a way around this so I can begin to use my iWatch? I am desperate to start using it!

No, you will need to upgrade your iPhone to use the Watch. It never was an "iWatch".

Ah yes, I beg your pardon, very true.

I feared there would be no other way than to upgrade. It is frustrating not being able to use my Apple Watch but I suppose it makes sense.

Yes you need at least an iPhone 5 and higher to be able to pair with an AW

I know, I know! I need a job and money is very tight right now. Believe me I want to upgrade!

I have a new Apple Watch that I've been unable to even use since Christmas! :cant-watch:
