iPhone and UConnect system
I used to have a Kia minivan and my phone worked beautifully with it. When connected by bluetooth, the car's speakers played any sound on my phone and I could use the mic to talk to Siri, etc.
I now have a 2014 Chrysler T&C with UConnect. It works okay for calls, but for anything else it's a pain. If I have a route in progress with Maps, I don't always hear the directions (it's as if the first part of the instruction is cut off). Music works well. If I activate Siri, she can't hear me at all and I can't do voice commands for emails or text. The phone's mic has been cut off but it can't use the car's mic.
Do I have something set wrong, or is this just a piece-of-junk media system that I have now?
